With over 15 years in the residential building industry, we have had "hands on" experience with every task, from start to finish, in building new homes or remodeling. These tasks include, block, framing, setting trusses, sheeting roofs, shingles, soffits, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, installation, drywall, paint, tile, wood floors, carpet and many others. Our background also consists of, reviewing contracts, addendums, and blue prints with individual homeowners to verify, lot drainage, eave setbacks, and that the home is being built to county code requirements.
There are many steps to take in the process of building a new home. Several things can be overlooked. So, when moving into a new or existing home, a qualified inspector is a must. We search for things such as, mold around air handlers, a/c units, kitchens, bathrooms, or any other wet locations. Also, stair step cracking on block foundations, settling cracks on driveways, garage floors. Drywall can show signs of both mold and settling. Along with a thorough attic inspection to assure that the roof is not leaking and the installation has been properly installed to maintain efficient temperatures. All electrical components will be tested, such as the main breaker panel, switches, outlets, and every light. Operation of appliances, interior / exterior doors, cabinet doors, all handles and locks, garage doors, windows, and sliders.
Born and raised here in the state of Florida we have seen what weather conditions can do to a home, first hand. So, make us, your home inspector, and will make you feel, "Wright at home".
